Sometimes in life, our problem can get so out of control that it can reach a peak that we can no longer ignore; which may develop into  psychological pain. For example, our inadequacy may start to infiltrate the very fibre of who we are and how we present ourselves to the world, leaving us at a loss as to how to hide, act, or what to do. We may experience thoughts such as “this is not like me”, “I am (or, used to be) confident”, “what’s wrong with me?” This realisation can feel scary, uncomfortable, at odds with our self-image, and who we think we are. What is interesting is that confidence can be affected, or lack of confidence manifest in many ways. Perhaps you can relate to any of the statements to the right?
